Obituary of Sr. Kovach

Paul J. Kovach, Sr., 85, of Whiting, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at Arista Care at Whiting in Manchester. Mr. Kovach was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, PA and lived in Spotswood before moving to Whiting in 1994. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Mr. Kovach was predeceased by his wife, Helen in 1977 and his son, Robert in 1995. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul, Jr. and Nancy of Lakewood; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his dear friend, Virginia Cappello. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.
