Grandpa I miss you. Every time I called I asked “is this my favorite grandpa!?” You always laughed because you knew you were my only grandpa. I’m still in disbelief you aren’t home with grandma. That’s the only place you wanted to be, forever by grandmas side. You were a family man, honest and funny. I will miss coming to visit and you waiting in the kitchen for me with the coffee in the morning. I’ll miss buying you flannels and pajama pants for Christmas. You are the only one I know who sliced hot dogs before you put them on the grill. You liked the important, simple things in life like family dinners at home and sitting around talking. When I was young I remember listening to Ron Stewart and Mariah Carey with you on the car rides to pleasant acres. You wouldn’t leave a parking spot until our seatbelts were on. You wanted to stop at all the garage sales when you came to visit us in Florida, and we did, even with your cane. I’ll miss emailing you pictures of our trips and calling you to tell you to check your email. The countless phone calls trying to explain how to connect with us on Skype.. how exciting it was when it worked. I’ll miss your jokes and stories of when you were younger. We all wished for more time with you but you were in so much pain. I know you’re watching over us though and we will all take care of grandma. Love you forever, Sarah

Visiting New Jersey when I was a kid is one of my most cherished childhood memories and Uncle Joey was always a central part. Hw was always happy to see us. He was funny, loving, and entertaining. He was always a great uncle and always great conversation. I will always remember the time he called me into his room where he had put on this scary monkey masked. It freaked me out and sent me screaming from the room LOL Aunt Joanne beat him good but it was the way he played and it was a great joke. I will miss him but I am so glad he is now in a better place, free of suffering, and surrounded by loved ones who went before him.
Rest in peace Uncle Joe. You will be missed always

Missing you is a underestimate, feeling a feeling of emptiness a pit in my stomach. I wish we could rewind time and go back to when i was a little girl you were forever my favorite person from teaching me how to ride a bike, are walks in the park, weekends at the trailer pig chasing ( always coming in first place) our fishing trips, you teaching me how to swim to me giving you your first great grandchild, our Sunday dinners always until this pandemic started my biggest fear has always been losing you. Anybody close to me knows how much you meant to me, whos going to sit in your seat at the table now, whos going to sit in your spot on the couch, who am I supposed to take funny videos and pictures with, whos going to yell at me and Paige for eating all your cheese & crackers. I went to visit grandma and as soon as we pulled up to your house, Avionna ran out the car calling " grandpa" so many times i know she felt you weren't there. You truly ARE the back bone to this family, the glue. A true Super Hero to all of US. You will be missed tremendously, there is no WORDS for HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!

To those who know my Grandfather they were blessed. A kind hearted man that loves all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. We shall not dwell on his passing but celebrate the memories that we had with him. A fond memory for me growing up was going to the trailer. Spending hours on the pond edge catching sunnies with a cane pole and special bait that Grandma would put together in the morning. The excitement that would rush over you as a child while the fish would bite the hook and Grandpa would be right there to take the fish off the hook and have you cast another line out. He was kind and patient, whether it was fishing or on the mini golf course he was there. As, we got older I started to understand the witty nature and the well timed quips as he would be telling a story. He was never afraid to razz you on something that you had said and it always resulted in a laugh. That is how I will always remember you. You are loved by so many and will be continued to be loved. This is not a forever goodbye it is a see you again. We love you, we miss you and your legacy will continue on for many of generations! Till we meet again!

I grew up my whole life never knowing my own grandfathers until I met Jason which led to meeting Grandpa. I’m so very thankful that such a loving and awesome man got to be the only person I was able to call “grandpa”. I will forever miss your jokes and talking about your childhood and your adventures with Grandma on the back porch. Even though you didn’t get to adopt me, I’ll always be one of your grandkids. Love you forever and always!

Over the last several day I have been in deep thought of what was just one memory I had of my beloved grandfather. I will let everyone in on a secret there are too many every moment spent with my grandfather was a blessing. He imparted so much wisdom and love too all of us grandchildren. One of my most recent memory was going to a winery together and just spending time together. He will always be a cornerstone of our family and what a legacy he left to remember. So too summon it all up I will never forget my grandpa and will carry all the great memories we had together with me for the rest of my life.

Joe was a special husband, father, grandfather, snd a loyal and caring friend. We are blessed that he was our forever friend for over 42 years. We will miss him so very much, and we take comfort in knowing that he's in the arms of Jesus and we know that we'll see him again. 2 Corinthians 5:8 says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We pray that this scripture brings peace and comfort to his family and friends. Our prayers are with our dear friend Joanne and her family today and always.
Love, Paul & Patty
Last year we went to Lancaster on a mini getaway vacation. We'll always treasure and remember our wonderful time together.

I couldn’t have asked for a more loving man to call my grandfather. Everything he did was filled with love and laughter. My favorite person to make jokes with, play dominos with, and of course drive a million hours to North Carolina with. Your love and laughter lives within me forever. Love and miss you always, Grandpa!
