Obituary of Eileen A. Carino

Eileen A. Carino, 97, of Whiting, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at home.  Born in Jersey City, NJ, Eileen lived in Port Charlotte, FL for 30 years before moving to Whiting.  She was a homemaker.  Eileen was a former communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, FL and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society and Holy Name.    She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.

   Eileen was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Alfred Carino in 2009.  She is survived by her eight children, Alfred Carino and his wife, Carol of Monroe, NJ, Sue Ann Hassler and her husband, Peter of Mechanicsburg, PA, Mary Carino of Ocean Grove, NJ, Geri Friedmann and her husband, Robert of Belvidere, NJ, Joseph Carino of Rochester, NY, Lorraine Parlo and her husband, Richard of Calhoun, GA, John Carino and his wife, Kim of Pemberton, NJ and Carl Carino of Whiting; one sister, Patricia Choicey of Morris Plains, NJ; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

   A Memorial Mass will be offered Wednesday, June 19th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Inurnment will follow at the chapel.  Donations in Eileen’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 would be appreciated.
