Obituary of Eileen B. Presing

Eileen B. Presing, 72, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.  Born in Rockville Center, Long Island, NY, she lived in Kinnelon, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1996.  Eileen was a Registered Nurse at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ for 30 years. After moving, she worked for Dr. Sundheim and Dr. Dalal in Whiting.  Eileen was a member of the Ocean County Domestic Violence Team.  She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society and Adoration Society.  Eileen was a member of the Mercy Volunteer Corp, where she ministered to the Homeless in both California and locally at Lakewood’s Tent City. She was the Head of Nursing for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church’s Nursing Group.

   Eileen was predeceased by her husband, William Presing in 2005.  She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Broderick of Ringwood, NJ,  Meghan Moore of Wanaque, NJ and Erin Zaretski of Beachwood; two sisters, Kathleen Kelly of Hope, NJ and Margaret McIntyre of Whiting; three grandchildren, Luke Broderick, Shannon Broderick and Aidan Coss, as well as countless family and friends..  

   Relatives and friends are invited to visit Sunday, Feb. 25th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, Feb. 26th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.  Donations in her memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Nursing Group, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759 or Sacramento Loaves & Fishes, 1321 North C Street, Sacramento CA 95811, www.sacloaves.org.
