I worked with Eileen at Chilton Memorial Hospial. She was an extremely competent and compassionate nurse. Whenever I think of her, I want to chuckle and laugh, as she was so witty and funny. And she was so able to switch from funny to serious in a flash. I just loved her. The physical world has lost a gem, but her brilliance shines on the other side.
Much love to her family at this time of sadness. I know you celebrate her life, but must miss her so already.

I am very sorry for your loss. Eileen was a friend of my mother's, Theresa Whittet. My Mom was a member of the Parish Nurses at SEAS. My Mom got sick last year and Eileen visited her just to talk. When she was heading toward hospice and my brothers and Dad and I were at a loss, Eileen was just a phone call away if we needed anything. And one night at 11 pm, we needed something and within minutes Eileen was meeting my brothers at the Church to help us however she could. I don't know if I ever really expressed to her how much we really appreciated her and her time for us during our difficult time. Or how much she meant to my Mom. During the last week, Eileen was on my mind and I hope she is at peace and I pray for all of you to have some peace during this difficult time.

Eileen was a wonderful, fun and happy soul who found her greatest joy in helping others. She was great to live with and fit right in with our Russell House Community of Sisters of Mercy. We had a great time when she visited us here in Oregon and I loved my visit to NJ! She will be missed. May she forever enjoy the peace and joy of heaven.

Dear Family,
I remember Eileen well when she came to Sacramento to work with our Mercy ministries in Sacrament. Being close to the same age, it was fun to share her experiences of family and life's surprises. I admired her leap of faith in coming to Sacramento for that year, as well as her dedication. I am sorry for your loss~take comfort in knowing she is only thoughts away and be proud of the heritage she left behind coast to coast!
With blessings every grace,
Marsha Cornelius

I did not know your mother, Meghan, but she must have been a wonderful person to have raised a daughter like you.
