Obituary of Delton W. Anderson

Delton W. Anderson, 90, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Jackson, NJ. Born in Brunswick Twp., MN, he lived in Warren, MI, Holland, PA and the Poconos, PA before moving to Whiting in 2004. Del was a Zone Manager for Bendix Corporation/Allied Signal. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He loved Canada and considered it his second home. He had a cottage there where he spent a great deal of time with his family and relatives. He loved deer hunting, fishing and gardening. Del was a very giving man. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Whiting. He was predeceased by six brothers and one sister. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary Anderson; two children and their spouses, Kristin & John Morano of Jackson and David & Randi Anderson of Kutztown, PA; three grandchildren, John and Vincent Morano and Sarah Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 30th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Christ Lutheran Church, 40 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ would be appreciated by his family.
