I have so many happy memories with my Uncle Del – “Patio Daddio” back in the day. Uncle Del opened his heart and his family to me when tragedy struck our family. He was a big man, with a big heart, who lived big. Salesman, sportsman, family man, builder. Uncle Del had a great sense of humor and led by example while making everyone around him laugh. We enjoyed many travels in the family station wagon. My partner Kirk even enjoyed being “skunked” by Del in Manitoba. He always had a great story to tell. Frail, and 90, but still sharp, he made all of us laugh at his birthday this fall. I hope he’s up there right now, catching that fur-bearing fish in the sky. Huge sympathy and hugs to Mary, Kristin, David, John Tyler, Vincent, Sarah, John and Randi. Uncle Del will be missed.

To my 'favourite' Uncle......so happy to have celebrated your 90th and sat on your lap for one last time like I did every summer visiting you and Aunt Mary for so many years. Glad our whole family was able to spend time with you in NYC--your last 'big overnight trip' I believe. So many fun memories from so many years....you lived a long active and adventure filled life and you will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and my 'favorite' Aunt and the whole family. Lots of love during this difficult time and always....
