Obituary of Charlotte Sadowski

CHARLOTTE ANN SADOWSKI, 82, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Thursday, December 27, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Chippewa Falls, WI, she was raised in Duluth, MN. She lived in Ringwood, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1995. She was a Librarian at DePaul High School, Wayne, NJ for 20 years. Prior to that she worked at the University of Notre Dame as a Librarian where she met her beloved husband, Edward. Mrs. Sadowski received her Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin and her Undergraduate Degree from St. Scholastica College in Duluth, MN. She was a communicant and volunteer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting She also volunteered for Somebody C.A.R.E.S., Inc., Whiting and the Crestwood community. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Edward in 1998 and her brother, James Trudelle in 1945. She is survived by five children, Peter Sadowski, Richard Sadowski of Aurora, CO, Anne Cassidy of Teaneck, NJ, Edith Sadowski of Belleville, NJ and Mary O'Neill of Ridgefield, CT; one sister, Mary Ellen Braafladt of Duluth, MN and six grandchildren, Michael, Diana, Rebecca, Samantha, Jack and James. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
