Obituary of Daniel DeLuca
Daniel A. DeLuca, 79, of Whiting, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Dan was born in Queens, NY and resided in Whiting for the past 13 years. He served in the Korean War. He worked for ITT World Communications for 32 years.
Son of Grace and Anthony, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Angelina; five children, Anthony, Daniel and Gerard, Grace Anne and Annette; three daughters-in-law, Mary Lynn, Rosa and Debbie; grandchildren, Steven, Melissa, Samantha, Gina, Michael, Angela, Jeanine and Brianna; sister, Jomarie and several nieces and nephews.
Beloved husband, he will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, May 21st, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, May 22nd, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 a.m., Monday, May 23rd, at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
