Obituary of Audun Hollekim

Audun J. Hollekim, 72, of Whiting, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mr. Hollekim was born in Tysnes, Norway. He lived in North Plainfield before moving to Whiting nine years ago. He was an insurance inspector for 30 years, working for Prudential and Upfro Associates. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dolores; three children and their spouses, Audun and Michelle of Flemington, NJ, Eric and Chris of Louisville, CO and Siri and John of Edinburgh, Scotland; four sisters, all living in Norway; one sister-in-law, Barbara of Scranton, PA; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, May 17th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
