Obituary of Howard Mich

Howard Mich, 70, of Crestwood Village II, Whiting, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 at Whiting Health Care Center in Manchester. Born in White Horse, NJ, he lived in Morrisville, PA before moving to Whiting in 1997. Howard was a high pressure boiler operator for Public Service Electric & Gas in Trenton for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He was a U.S. Postal worker and co-owned and operated The Peaceful Dove Religious Shop in Bucks County, PA for 13 years. He was a US Air Force veteran for 4 years. He was a two term president of the Crestwood Village Camera Club and a member of the Crestwood Village Fishing Club. He was a member of the Lacey Elks Club and volunteered for the Boys Club of Trenton for several years. Howard was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Pines Council #9852. He was predeceased by three brothers, Francis, Raymond and George and two sisters, Virgie Forman and Blanche Di Pietro. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rita; four children and their spouses, Michele and John Schreck of Florence, Milissa and Paul Neirotti of Morrisville, PA, Jeffrey and Michele Mich of Ephrata, PA and Christopher and Christine Mich of Downington, PA; one brother, Russell of Bordentown, one sister, Violet Parker of Crosswicks; 13 grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Kelly, Lauren, Katherine, Rebecca, Sarah, Bridget, Emily, Nicholas, Luke, Peter, twins, Lily and Mary and Clare. The family would like to thank Howard's sister-in-law, Mary Ann Burke, for her help and support during his illness. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Friday, Jan. 28th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting.
