How sorry I was to hear of Bill's passing. Our condolences to his wife, Elizabeth, daughter Karen and her husband Tom and her two children Bill's Grandchildren. I knew Bill for some 55 years having worked with him in Airco, we both were involved in Union activities while there, and he was a great Local 315 President. My oldest son was almost born in Bill's apartment in Elizabeht, we had been to a wedding in Jersey City of another Airco employee, and upon returning we drove them home, and upon entering the apartment my then Wife's water broke. Bill went downstairs to direct traffic on Morris Ave. but at 2 a.m. there wasn't much traffic, but for years we had a good laugh about it. I last saw Bill about 14 years ago he his wife, sister and brother-in-law paid us a visit at our home in Florida shortly after we relocated there. He will be missed, he was one swell guy.
