Obituary of Blanche "Bonnie" Jusko

Blanche (Bonnie) Formanek Jusko, 96 years old, passed away peacefully at her home and surrounded by her loving family on January 7, 2001. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Trenton, NJ, she raised her family there, and then moved to Whiting, NJ in 1978. In 2002, she re-located to Kendal at Longwood, Kennett Square, PA where she remained until her death. She was predeceased by her husband, George Jusko who died in 1976. She is survived by her son, Allan Jusko and his wife, Carol on Ormond Beach, FL; her daughter, Janet Shepps and her husband, Lloyd of West Chester, PA; her daughter, Kathleen Gafgen and her husband, John of Pennington, NJ; and her son, Robert Jusko and his wife, Nancy of Forked River, NJ. She also leaves her eleven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Bonnie was a member of the PTA at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Trenton. She was a past charter member of the Columbiettes, Ewing Council, Trenton and a Columbiette member for forty years of the Hamilton Twp. Council, Trenton. She was a member of the Crestwood Chorus and Church Choir of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Whiting, NJ. She was a Choir member in Kendal at Longwood, Kennett Square, PA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ 08759. A Memorial Mass will also be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Rd., Chadds Ford, PA 19317. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bonnie to Kendal Crosslands Communities, P.O. Box 100, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
