Obituary of Dorothy M Miller

Dorothy M. Miller, 80, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at home. Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Howell and Woodbridge before moving to Whiting in 2007. Dorothy was a medical transcriber at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard Miller in 2009 and her brother, Arthur Eskra. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Miller of Toms River; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard, Jr. and Joann of Keasbey and Kenneth of Fords; three grandchildren, Megan, Melissa and Andrew and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Noah. Visitation will be Monday, September 20th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Inurnment will be Tuesday, September 21st at 12:30 p.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 would be greatly appreciated by her family.
