Sleeping with Angels My Mother-in-law, Betty Humphreys respectfully & with grace decided it was time to rest on Saturday 6/5 @ 11:59am. I'm going to miss her insights, hugs and words that I still hear in my dreams these past two nights. Her Betty-isms are making my heart swell and eyes well up.] But I can't wish her back ..she fought so hard these past 2 months & deserves her peace. She earned it "fun sized, fiesty & determined" her devotion to family, faith and most of all her husband of 63 years taught me so much. Thank you for opening your heart, accepting, being real, sparring, laughing, sharing yourself with me. For 31 years you introduced me "like a daughter" & shared your pride as a friend. Do I have to say good-bye? I'm not ready Oh well 6 one 1/2 a dozen of the other..It must be Murphy's law... If it's Bad we'll deal with it.. and to all her grandchildren "Grandma looooves you" Eat your green candies & little green trees...Above all love eachother like family and treat eachother as you'd like to be treated! Sweet memories of you "Our Cookie"
