Obituary of Donald E Pape

Donald E. Pape, 75, of Waretown, NJ, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Donald was a marine mechanic for ACE Outdoor Power in Bayville, NJ., and owned and operated his own company, Mr. Flush. He was a U.S. Army gun truck gunner during the Vietnam War and was a life member of the Vietnam Vets of America. Don was a Volunteer Fireman with New Milford Fire Co. and loved boating and Nascar. He worked security and was a scaler at Wall Stadium and New Egypt Speedway. He is survived by his beloved wife, Millie, and their cat, Tik Tok; step-children, John, Sean and Debra Carman and April and Pat McGinnis; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Devin, Ryan, Joey, Cody, Elsa, Kaitlyn, and Kevin; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Luna and Alice. Also surviving are his special friends, Howie and Linda Doherty and their family, Rachael and her husband, Courtney and Chris, Jon, Zoey, and Luna Raven; The Morano family, Dee, John, Tony, Shannon, Barbara Jean, John Paul, AJ, Cora Lee, and his beloved Alex and Will and their daughter, Nora; his Spencer's Bayside Marina family, Spencer, Catherine, Lee, Brian, John and Fawn Payton; Don and Nancy Hermann, Kenny and Gail,Toni and Joe Horvath; and many other Friends who were like family. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
