Obituary of Edward J. Kwityn

Edward J. Kwityn, 77, of Toms River, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Jersey City, he moved to Toms River in 1972. Edward was a purchasing agent for the Ocean County Vehicle Maintenance Department in Toms River. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a communicant of St. Justin Catholic Church in Toms River. Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife, Susan in 2008. He is survived by five children, Edward of Bayville, Christopher of Bordentown, Kevin of Toms River, Stacey Gibson of Toms River and Jill Hoernig of Bayville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, March 18th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 would be greatly appreciated by his family.
