Obituary of Dorothy E. Crist

Dorothy E. Crist, 93, of Whiting, NJ, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Dorothy was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She moved to Whiting 20 years ago. She was a secretary at Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia, PA. Dorothy loved bowling. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Henry Crist in 2011; her brother, William Groth and her sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Dempsey. She is survived by four children, Mary Anne Simone and her husband, Mark of Punta Gorda, FL, Michael Crist and his wife, Diane of Howell, NJ, Lisa Crist and her partner, Steven Clementi of Lindenwold, NJ and Kathleen Horton and her husband, Mark of Cinnaminson, NJ; eight grandchildren, Nikki, James, Michael, Thomas, Joy, Matthew, Jessica and Julia and two great-grandsons, Troy and Liam. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donation in Dorothy’s memory to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759 would be greatly appreciated by her family.
