Obituary of Roger D. Livingston, Sr.

Roger D. Livingston, Sr., 81, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Iselin, NJ, Roger also resided in Avenel, before moving to Whiting 17 years ago. Roger was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean and Cold War. He worked as a forklift operated for Wakefern Foods in Elizabeth, NJ before retiring. Roger will be remembered fondly by his loving wife, Bernadette, of 57 years; their children, Roger D. Livingston, Jr. and his spouse, Rosie, Edward J. Livingston and his spouse, Kari, Sharon Keally and her husband, Jay, Julie McNelis and her husband, Bill, and their son, Richard J. Livingston. Roger also has five grandchildren, Matthew, Brianne, Alek, Shelby, and Jordan and also two great-grandchildren, Luke and Grace. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, February 12th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Interment will follow at the All Saints Chapel Niche immediately following.
