Obituary of Anna Stierle

Anna Stierle, 94, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Tall Woods Care Center in Bayville. Born in New York City, NY, she lived in West Hempstead, Long Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 1986. Anna was the Office Manager at RS Precision, a tool and dye manufacturing company in New Hyde Park, NY. She was a member of Liederkranz in Franklin Square, NY and a member of the Lakewood Maennerchor Choir, a German-American choir, in Lakewood, NJ. She was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Whiting. Anna was predeceased by her first husband, Helmut Neumann in 1996 and her second husband, George Stierle in 1998. She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Gray and her husband, Stephen of Whiting, NJ and Helene Strojny of Murrieta, CA; her step-daughter, Gudren Rosenbush and her husband, Walter of Monroe, CT; her sister, Elsie Reese and her husband, Dieter of Scarborough, ME; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two nephews. All services are private.
