Obituary of Angela R. Cassidy

Angela Cassidy, 87, of the Meadows in Whiting, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Virtua-West Jersey Hospital in Evesham Twp., NJ. Angela was born and raised in Belleville, NJ. She lived in Forked River for 20 years and Shamong for 10 years before moving to Whiting in 1999. Angela was a clerical worker at PACO Pharmaceutical Services in Lakewood, NJ. She was a member of the Meadows bowling league and volunteered at Somebody, C.A.R.E.S. in Whiting. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Whiting. Angela was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Fusaro. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Stephen Cassidy, Jr.; one son, Stephen Rella and his wife, Adrienne of Tuckerton, NJ; two daughters, Phyllis Simpson and her husband, Karl Hess of Barnegat, NJ and Leslie Cassidy of Pemberton, NJ; one sister, Frances Vecchio of Forked River, NJ; four grandchildren, Ashley Rella, Falon Alfrey and her husband, Kurt, Kevin Tenery and his wife, Megan and Kaitlin Simpson and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Julian and Ian Alfrey. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Angela's memory made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 would be greatly appreciated by her family.
