Obituary of Gerald M. Ravaioli, Sr.

Gerald M. Ravaioli, Sr., 83, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at AristaCare at Whiting. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in Sayreville before moving to Whiting in 2005. Gerald was a factory worker for Regina Vacuum Company in Rahway, NJ for 35 years, retiring in 2005. He was a band leader and a member of the Four Coachman in Sayreville, NJ. He was a communicant and a volunteer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. Gerald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary C. Ravaioli in 2018; his cherished daughter, Eileen Ravaioli and his dear brother, Ronald Ravaioli. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerry and Maria Ravaioli of Jackson and Jeff and Cathy Ravaioli of South Amboy; one brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Cathy Ravaioli of Somerset; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Services will be private, held at a later date. Donations, in Gerald’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, would be greatly appreciated by his family.
