Obituary of Donald G. Hollands

Donald G. Hollands, 91, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at home. Donald was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He moved to Crestwood Village V, Whiting in 1998. He was a carpenter and worked for Exxon Corporation in Linden, NJ. Donald was a Church Elder at Willowbrook Park Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the bowling club, softball team, bocce team and bingo club at Crestwood Village 5. Donald was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Hollands in 2007; his daughter, Judy Hollands in 2017 and his sister, Marion. He is survived by three children, Wayne Hollands, Nancy Atlak and her husband, Jay and Glenn Hollands and two granddaughters, Tracy and Kathleen. Visitation will be Friday, December 20th from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a service at 12:30 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
