Obituary of Joseph Massa

Joseph Massa age 58 of Whiting NJ passed away Monday December 31, 2018 at home surrounded by family. He was born and raised in Belleville before moving to Brick in 1978. He currently lived in Whiting with his family for 6 years.

He spent his summers on Brick Beach with the Weasel’s, enjoying the ocean, fishing, loved walking on the boardwalk, playing the stands and video games for prizes.  He enjoyed driving his truck on Long Beach Island and staying overnight.  Joe loved four wheeling with his friends and talking on the CB radio.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Eleanor Massa. Surviving are his beautiful wife Dawn Massa, his children Maria, Kimberly, Ashley and son-in-law George. He also has 5 grandchildren; Rileigh, Charles, Paislee, Breanna and Hailey. His brother and wife Nicholas and Kris as well as 2 nephews Nicholas and Zachary.

Memorial will be held for Joseph on Saturday January 12th starting at 1pm until 6:30pm. It's held at 48A Beaver Ave in Whiting. Food and drinks will be served. Please bring pictures of him if you have any. Also in lieu of flowers please donate to the family to help with bills and the service.
