Obituary of Gloria Jean Byrne

   Gloria Jean Byrne, 74, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at AristaCare at Whiting.  Gloria was born in Jersey City and lived in Washington Township, Bergen County before moving to Whiting in 1999.  She was a Registered Occupational Nurse and worked for Owen Illinois Glass Company for 5 years and the New York Times for 8 years.  She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting.

   Gloria is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Byrne; two children, Eugene Byrne, Jr. and his wife, Katie of Lake Placid, NY and Denise Byrne of South Carolina; her sister, Carol Ronayne of Maryland and six grandchildren.

   Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, Oct. 5th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 6th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.  Donations in her memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
