Dear Gene,
Just found out about Gloria. I am so sorry for your loss. Joe Lamb called me. Since I moved I really don't hear from anyone except Joe. He and I get together once a week for lunch and talk politics. We really had a great group when we were all involved. Since Jim passed I no longer am involved in politics. Gloria was the sweetest, most caring person. She was always concerned about our health and giving advice as to how to take care of it. She had great sense of humor and was always willing and ready to help. You and she will be in my thoughts and prayers

Dear Gene, Eugene, Denise and family: Gloria and I met in Central Blvd School in 7th grade and we have been good friends ever since. We shared many adventures together and she was my last link to my childhood in Palisades Park, NJ. Some of my fondest memories took place with Gloria and her family. Riding in Carol's blue Ford convertible; our first fraternity party with Carol trying to keep an eye on us; getting lost in NYC after we had skipped school. Gloria was smarter than me, she always beat me by at least 10 pts. She loved Biology class at St Cecilia's where she did the dissecting and I did the drawing. Even then she knew she wanted to help people and chose nursing to accomplish that goal. She was funny and thoughtful. We argued for hours over who was better Italian or Irish? Her Mom told us that we would each marry a man opposite of who we were. She was right! Gloria married Gene and I - Frank Barone. Gloria was happy! She loved deeply and was loved deeply in return by her family and friends and she gave of herself willingly. She stood by me through the deaths of my mother and my husband and she and Gene even babysat my animals when I was traveling.I shall miss her! My brother, John Riddle, joins me in sending our deepest condolences to you all. Rest in Peace dear friend. Love, Ann
