Obituary of Barbara Ann McGough

Barbara Ann McGough passed away on August 31, 2018 in Whiting, New Jersy at the age of 72 and became one of the angels that she so adored.  Born and raised in Queens, New York with her four siblings, she lived most of her adult life in New Jersey and a number of years residing in Virginia and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Barbara had an active and fulfilled life spending time with family and friends.  She worked for BAXTER and American Funds, enjoyed traveling, volunteering her time and talents and listening to the music of her beloved ELVIS.  Barbara could also be found playing the slot machines in several places forever searching for machine # eleven-eleven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Josephine Campiglia, her first husband, Bob McGough, sisters, Sarah Clemens and Charlotte Fisk as well as other family members.

Survivors include her husband, William English; brother, Gerard Campiglia (Pauline); sister, Regina Duffy (Jimmy) and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who she adored throughout her life.

Barbara's family takes great comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering, is at Peace in the arms of her Savior and was welcomed to her final resting place by friends and family members that had gone before her.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759.  A Reception will follow at the Whiting Station Clubhouse.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's mamory can be made to you local Hospice organization, the National Kidney Foundation or the Autism Society.
