Obituary of Alfred J. Howe

  Alfred J. Howe of Manchester, NJ and Cocoa, FL, went home to his Lord and Savior on September 1, 2018 after a long illness.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Howe was the son of the late Alice and Alfred Howe.

   Alfred worked for Link & Coleman in New York City for 26 years.  He also worked for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Company in Raritan, NJ. 

   Alfred enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Alaska, Europe and even stepped foot on the continent of Africa.

   Alfred enjoyed the company of many beloved dogs throughout his life.  He leaves behind three grand dogs, Regan, Sheeba and Bella.

   He was an avid NY Yankees fan.  He was happy to have met several of his beloved 1998 players at Spring Training in Tampa, FL.  He also attended many Yankee games in the Bronx, NY.

   Alfred was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Howe in 2003.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina; one daughter, Maryellen Malizioso and her husband, Louis of Wall Township, NJ; two sons, Kevin and his wife, Cheryl of Bayonne, NJ and John of Neptune, NJ; one brother, Retired Air Force Colonel, Arthur Howe, of Melbourne, FL; one sister, Alice Weber and her husband, William of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; seven nieces; four nephews and one sister-in-law, Delia Howe.  

   Relatives and friends are invited to visit Friday, Sept. 7th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, Sept. 8th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.  Donations in Alfred’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or the Manchester Township First Aid & Rescue Squad, 29 Colonial Drive, Manchester, NJ 08759, would be appreciated.
