Obituary of Samuel C. Cecere

   Samuel C. Cecere, 88, of Whiting, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at his residence in Whiting.  Born in        Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Union, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1998.  Samuel was a factory worker for McMillan Bloedel Co. in Union, NJ for 29 years, retiring in 1997.  He was also a custodian for the Union Board of Education for 8 years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Union.

   Samuel was predeceased by his wife, Walterine L. Adamczyk Cecere in 2007. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

   A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:45 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 1st at the All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.   Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.  For information and condolences, please visit our website at manchestermemorial.net
