Obituary of Mary Eileen Weinbrecht
Mary Eileen Donovan Weinbrecht was born in Jersey City, NJ on December 4, 1944 and passed away in her Whiting, NJ home on July 17, 2018. Her professional career as a nutritionist for Chilton Hospital spanned thirty years. Upon retirement, she moved to the southern part of the state and became active in the Crestwood Community. She enjoyed traveling on various arranged trips, cake-infused book club meetings, playing Mahjong with friends, and Bocce on the local courts. Eileen’s love of cooking, exploring new tastes, and experimenting with recipes spanned decades, as her large collection of cook books can attest. Her welcoming and quiet nature will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two sisters, Kathy Allocco and Margaret Ayers; her son, Peter Weinbrecht; her grandchildren, Asa and Justin Monson, Addison and Jack Weinbrecht, and her great-grandchildren, Justin, Alexandra, Eric, and Annabelle Monson.
