Obituary of Rose Zezza

    Rose Zezza, 88, of Whiting, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at AristaCare at Whiting.  Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Georgia for 4 years before moving to Whiting 17 years ago.  Rose worked in the Meat Department of Foodtown in Irvington, NJ.  She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.

   Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick Zezza in 1996 and two daughters, Phyllis LaPapa in 2000 and Antoinette Furrevig in 2016.  She is survived by her daughter, Fran and her husband, Hillar Neumann, Jr.; six grandchildren, Melissa Furrevig, Joe Furrevig, Jennifer Neumann, Hillar Neumann, III, Michael LaPapa and Christine Sealy and two great-granddaughters.

   Visitation will be Thursday, May 31st from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. The family is requesting no flowers, but Mass offerings would be appreciated.
