Obituary of Mary Obermeier

Mary Obermeier passed away at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center on May 9, 2018 surrounded by her family.   She was born in Germany on January 3, 1928 and emmigrated to the United States in 1952.  She married Max Obermeier in 1953. 

   She was predeceased by her husband, her brother, Joseph Sperl and her son-in-law, Alexander Zimmerman, MD.  She is survived by her daughters, Anita Fernandes (Joseph) and Ingeborg Zimmerman, as well as her brother, Joseph Jakob, niece, Anita Swisher (Paul) and other extended family members.   

   Visitation will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 10 am at Manchester memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:45 am at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.  Internment will take place in Whiting Memorial Park 600 Rt. 530 Whiting, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
