My prayers are with you, Lenny, as you go through this very, very difficult time. Take comfort in the knowledge that you have been there for her, always, that you took such good care of her, that you made the time in your life to be with her right until the end. You know she loved you and appreciated you. I am confident that it gave her great peace to have you there by her side in her final moments. My prayers are also with your father. May he weather this storm and acknowledge your constant presence and help in his life, and take strength in the knowledge that you will never abandon him. I wish you all peace, knowing that Karen is at peace, is not suffering any more, and that she is in heaven, looking down lovingly at Lenny Sr., Lenny Jr. and Brett.

It deeply saddens us to hear of “Aunt” Karen’s passing.
She and our mother shared a very close friendship.
They spent lots of time talking on the phone bonding over their shared interests. The both looked fondly on the years they worked together at Brunswick bowling alley in Belleville.
May you be comforted in knowing they are together again in heaven.
With deepest condolences Eric and Heinz Nordmann.
