Val and I went to high school together and reconnected through social media. What was beautiful to see through her social media comments and posts is that she remained the same lovely person she was in high school. Her passing is an awful tragedy. I am so sorry to hear this news. I will always remember her wonderful spirit.

My sincere condolences to the Yanacci family. Although I did not know Valerie very well, I have always felt she possessed a magnetism that was strong, hardworking, and ethical. I feel grateful to have gotten to know her a bit better, over the past few years, and quickly became to admire her passion for life, and her gifted demeanor.
