Obituary of Elaine Sara Waite

   Elaine Sara Waite, 76, of Whiting passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

   Elaine is survived by her husband, Ronald and children, Patricia Giaquinto, Sandra Collins, both of Somerset and Ronald, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leanna Flores, Nadina Heliotis, Arielle Giaquinto, Trevor Collins, Evalyne Collins and James Giaquinto; several great-grandchildren; her sisters, Elizabeth Silverman and Mildred Fraser of Manchester Twp and her brother, Albert Rowland of Tuckerton.

  She was predeceased by her mother and father, Mildred and Albert Rowland of Avon.

   She was previously married to Thomas Clements who went down with the Thresher submarine in 1963.  Elaine was employed by various companies in the New Brunswick area before coming to Avon in the late 1960’s where she met and married Ronald in 1967 while they were working at Atmospheric Sciences Lab at Fort Monmouth.  After Ronald retired from Electronic Warfare Labs  at the fort in 1996, they moved to Whiting in 2003.

   Elaine and Ronald had just celebrated their 50th Anniversary, September 9, 2017.

   Inurnment will take place Thursday, Jan. 11th at 2:30 p.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting. For information and condolences, please go to our website at   manchestermemorial.net
