Obituary of Ann Geraldine Quitsch

   Ann G. Quitsch, 92, of Whiting passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017  at Care One Nursing Home, Jackson. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there before moving to Whiting 33 years ago. She worked for Home Life Insurance in New York for many years. She sang in the Showstoppers and the NewYorkers.  She was known as “Annie Q” Entertainment Extraordinaire.
  

   Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerard in 2003, her daughter, Diane Petralia in 2014 and her sister, Geraldine Servedio. She is survived by one son, Gay Quitsch and his wife, Mary of Whiting; one daughter, Susan Sudano and her husband, Nick of Staten Island, NY; a son-in-law Frank Petralia of Jackson; 10 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
  

   Visitation will be Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be offered at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
