Obituary of Anthony J. Bontempo

   Anthony J. Bontempo, 69, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at home.  Born in Jersey City, he lived in Avenel before moving to Whiting in 2008.  Anthony was a bus driver for Breza Bus Company in Rahway.  He retired in 2003. 
  

   Anthony is survived by his wife of eight years, Carol Gibson; one step-son, Bryan Gibson of Allentown, PA; one sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie & Dominick Creanzo of Forked River and one grandchild.
  

   Visitation will be Thursday, June 1st from 2 to 5 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.  A Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
