Obituary of Gerald Cafro

Jerry Cafro, 73, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his home in Sebastian, Florida. Born in Newark, NJ, he split his time between his two residences in Sebastian, FL and Whiting, NJ. Jerry worked as a truck driver for Preston Trucking, Woodbridge, NJ. He was an avid fisherman and belonged to the Sebastian Fishing Club in Florida. He was a communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Marie, of 53 years; his 3 children, Linda Riddle, Gerald Cafro Jr, and Robert Cafro; two brothers, Ralph Cafro and Edward Cafro; two sisters, Grace Chimento and Marie Lazaro; five grandchildren, Edward Riddle, Jaclyn Riddle, Taryn Cafro, Kimber Cafro, and Jessi Cafro. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28th from 6 pm to 9 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting. A Funeral liturgy will be held Wednesday, March 29th at 10:45 am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Cremation will be private.
