Obituary of Noel Van Dyke

 Noel Van Dyke, 89, of Whiting, passed away, Saturday, March 18, 2017, peaceful at home. Born in North Brunswick, NJ, he lived in Somerset, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2003. Noel owned and operated Van’s Auto Repairs, New Brunswick, for 40 years retiring in 2001. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Nonie; his son, David Van Dyke, of Somerset; 5 daughters, Marlene Van Dyke and Peter Orenzoff, of Robbinsville, Lisa Sherwin and Greg, of Lewsville, TX, twins Dawn and Donna Van Dyke, both of Somerset, Lori Van Dyke and Adam McGregor, of Somerset; brother, Paul Van Dyke, of Iowa; sister, Wanda Van Dyke, of California; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A memorial service will following at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Noel’s memory to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1228 Route 37 West, #6, Toms River, NJ 08755.
