Obituary of Katherine Hess

Katherine Hess, 73, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, February 18th, at The Rose Garden in Toms River. Born in Rahway, NJ, she lived in Connecticut before moving to Whiting 25 years ago. Katherine retired as a special education teacher from the Pemberton Twp. School District. She loved to travel. She was a member of the NJEA and a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Toms River. Katherine was predeceased by her brother, John A Krupey in 2007. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Kevin Borden of Coatesville, PA; two grandchildren, Kylie and Kyra Borden; sister-in-law, Linda Krupey of Whiting; nephew, Jack Krupey. A prayer service will be held Saturday, March 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting. Burial will follow at St Gertrude’s Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ.
