Obituary of Paul J. Innella, Jr.
Paul J. Innella, Jr., 78, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Lakewood, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2006. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, McFadden Post in New York, a member of the Residents Club, Bocce Club, Shuffle Board Club and Bingo of Crestwood Village I. Paul was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
He was predeceased by his son, Paul William Innella in 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Shirley Innella; his daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Jim Rich of Old Bridge; his son and daughter-in-law, William and Debra Innella of Brooklyn, NY; his brother, Thomas Innella of Whiting; his sister, Audrey Morrell of Palm Bay, FL and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan 21st at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
