Obituary of Jane Russo

Jane Russo, 94, of Whiting, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was born October 28, 1922 in Holmdel, NJ. She lived in Colts Neck before moving to Whiting in 2002. Jane was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Russo in 2012, her sister, Jean Liskowski and two brothers, Stanley and John. Survived by sister, Ann Orechwo and brother, Ray Winkowski; three children and their spouses, Janet and Cal DeCoursey, Reno, NV, Bob and Cindy Russo, Beachwood, NJ, Eileen and Jeff Shultz, Littleton, CO, five grandchildren, Suzanne DeCoursey, Paul DeCoursey, Amanda Russo Ambrose, Robert Russo, Jr. and Andrew Shultz. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 2nd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Tuesday, Jan. 3rd at 9:00 am at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at 2:00 pm at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or the ASPCA.
