Obituary of Katherine T. Healy

Katherine T. Healy, 90, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Community medical Center in Toms River, NJ. She was born and raised in Jersey City. She moved to Whiting in 1995. Katherine was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. Katherine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edwin Healy in 2011. She is survived by four children, Corinne Griffin, Timothy, Gerard and Daniel Healy; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Wednesday, Dec. 21st at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Katherine’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
