Obituary of James W Farrington

James W Farrington, 89, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Shore Meadows in Toms River. He was Born in Fall River, Mass. He moved from Providence, RI in 1968 to Ewing, NJ, he lived in Eatontown before moving to Whiting 27 years ago. James was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran. He worked at IBM Corporation for 28 years, retiring in 1988. James was a communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. James is predeceased by his parents John and Gertrude Farrington of Providence, RI; his son, Paul; and his three brothers, John, Jerry, Donald. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rochelle; his son James "Gary" Farrington of South Carolina; daughter, Maureen Farrington Wood of North Carolina; Step-son Frank Naclerio of New Jersey; brother Francis Farrington of Providence, RI; four grandchildren, Devon Garber and her husband Dave of New Jersey, Erick and his wife Michaela of Michigan, Keeley and Dylan Wood both of North Carolina; and two great-grandchildren Ethan and Hannah Garber. Burial will be held at the Brig. General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown on Thursday, December 1 at 2:30 pm.
