Obituary of Margaret M. Errickson

Peggy Errickson passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on October 23rd peacefully with her husband by her side. She was born in Newark, NJ on May 7, 1942, the daughter of the late William and Catherine Smith. She moved to Hazlet, NJ in 1962 before moving to Whiting, NJ in 2001. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Charles; two loving daughters and “son” Patricia, Susan and Christopher; her “sister” Carol and several nieces and nephews. Peggy adored her three grandchildren, Dana Tommy and Emily. Peggy was fortunate to have many great friends, some of whom were lifelong. A Memorial Gathering will be held Sunday, Oct. 30th from 10 am to 12 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting with a prayer service beginning at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
