Obituary of William C. Brehle

William C. Brehle, 94, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at AristaCare at Whiting. Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Union before moving to Whiting 20 years ago. William worked for Weston Electrical Instruments Corporation in Newark. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was very active at the Crestwood Village Clubhouse. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. William was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Louise Brehle in 2009. He is survived by two sisters-n-law, Theresa Erichsen and her husband, Eugene of Clark and Dorothy LaMonde of Whiting. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
