I just want to say that Hertha (Heddy to me) was a great, great lady. She shall surely be missed by me & many others.
I'm so glad I got the opportunity to see her a few months ago. Having not seen her for awhile, I rather expected her to be in a wheelchair showing the ravages of age. But instead she walked in the room I was in, straight as an arrow & looked beautiful. She had just had her hair done besides.
At first she did not remember me, but after a bit of conversing, looking at pictures I had brought, she seemed like her old self. We laughed & I think she really enjoyed our time together.
I was thinking this week how I wanted to go & see her again, but that didn't materialize. I trust that God's peace will be upon those she left behind.
