Obituary of Carmine C DiBenedetto

Carmine C. DiBenedetto, 88, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation at Brick. Born in Irvington, NJ, he lived in Brick, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1997. Carmine was a bus driver for Classic Tours, Lakewood, retiring in 2001. He served as an usher for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Carmine was predeceased by his son, Karl in 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife, Audrey, of 65 years; his two sons, Dennis of Manchester Twp and Michael of Medford, NJ; his 6 daughters, Donna Schembari of Brick, Nancy Farinella of PA, Cheryl Hibbard of Brick, Dianne Hegadorn of Brick, Helaine Murnin of Florida, Vanessa Hausser of Forked River; his sister, Etta Sauerbeager of Lakewood; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Friday, June 24th at 9:00 am at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Cremation will be private.
