Obituary of Audrey Ann Micich

Audrey A. Micich, 79, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. Born in Canada, she lived in Midland Park. She attended Albright College and Fairleigh Dickinson University where she studied biology. She loved art, classical music, bird watching and all animals. She was an advocate for environmental conservation. Audrey was a former member of the Ridgewood Art Guild, as well as the Crestwood Artists Guild. She moved to Whiting in 2002 and to Indianapolis, IN 2 years ago. Audrey was an aide at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ for 13 years, retiring in 2001. She was communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Anthony Micich in 2009 and her brother, Robert Allen. She is survived by seven children, Steve Micich of Indianapolis, IN, Ethan Micich of Sherwood OR, Eliot Micich of Garfield, NJ, Evin Micich of Oakland, NJ, Edward Micich of Columbus, OH, Elisa Monaro of Ocala, FL and Elisabeth Otero of Scotch Plains, NJ and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, June 19th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday, June 20th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
