Obituary of Mary T. Sheil

Mary T. Sheil, 87, of Whiting, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at home. Born in the Bronx, NY, she lived in Queens, NY before moving to Whiting in 1995. Mary was a teacher at St. Clare's Catholic School of the Diocese of Brooklyn in Queens, NY for 25 years, before retiring in 1995. She was a volunteer at Somebody C.A.R.E.S. in Whiting for many years and was a member of the American Irish Club of Whiting. Mary was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society, She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Sheil in 1987. She is survived by her four children, Ellen Satriano and her husband, Jim of Queens, NY, Joseph Sheil of Framingham, MA, Philip Sheil of Bronx, NY and Christopher and Nancy Sheil of Queens, NY; one sister, Veronica Bartley of Whiting and two grandchildren, Parker Gillian and Eamon Donovan. A Memorial Mass will be offered Wednesday, May 4th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ.
